After the success of the inaugural Build to Rent Awards, Love to Rent is thrilled to announce that entries are now open for the next instalment, promising to celebrate innovation and excellence in the rapidly growing Build to Rent market.
As the first and only awards to solely focus on the Build to Rent sector, they unite professionals from the whole industry, acknowledging their achievements and most importantly, giving customers clear guidance and understanding about increased choices when it comes to finding a new home.
Covering all elements from innovation in design and sustainability to outstanding customer service, social value impact, marketing, technology, management and supplier accomplishments, the awards serve as a platform to showcase the best practices, initiatives, and achievements within the Build to Rent community.
Ami Kotecha, co-founder and President, Amro Partners, Winner of the Build to Rent Sustainability Award explains: “We were truly honoured to be the first winners of the Build to Rent Sustainability Award in 2023, recognising our work developing AMCAST, our in-house carbon assessment tool. This is in action across our portfolio, providing continuous granular insights which enable us to monitor and reduce embodied and operational emissions in line with our Net Zero Carbon 2025 pledge.
“Sustainability is our guiding principle, sitting at the heart of everything we do as a business, so to be recognised amongst a cohort of such highly esteemed organisations in our sector was a very proud moment indeed.”
The Build to Rent Awards are now open, inviting nominations from across the Build to Rent community. Whether you're a property developer, operator, investor, or service provider, these awards provide a unique opportunity to showcase your achievements and gain recognition on a prestigious platform.
For residents, it is imperative that operators secure suppliers who can deliver their needs. At last year’s award, this was a hotly contested category. “We were absolutely delighted to be recognised as Best Supplier to the BTR sector at last year’s awards,” says Alison Orrells, CEO & Managing Director, The Safety Letterbox Company Ltd. “It was particularly significant for us as we have worked tirelessly with the sector to ensure we advise, supply and install the best aesthetic, compliant and functional solution with attention to efficiency, future proofing and addressing any potential fire and safety issues whilst creating a visually impactful arrangement.
“We truly care about this sector and doing the right thing, firmly invested in the solutions and ensuring assets are designing in the very best option for residents, operators and investors now and in the future. We wish the very best of luck to all this year’s entries and thank Love to Rent for our recognition.”
This sentiment is echoed by Mark Jones from Pantree within the Best Supplier category: “Being highly commended by a judging panel with such expertise within the BTR world meant a lot to us as an early-stage business. As a logistics-heavy company, the award was a testament to an awesome team giving it 100% every day.”
Judged by an independent panel of industry experts, the Build to Rent Awards 2024 are set to be bigger and better, building on the success of last year. The confirmed categories this year will be:
